The SCQ Principal Engineer DTx Automation & Digital leads the implementation of new automation tools and technologies projects across MedTech Quality to drive growth, delivery, quality, and cost improvements. Is responsible for benchmarking industry technology trends and incorporation of human centered automations innovations and introduction of new technologies in alignment with business needs and strategies involving multiple franchises and functions. Also, collaborate with various cross-functional stakeholders, coordinate and execute improvement opportunities. The Principal Engineer lead process improvement implementation in achieving target outcomes which includes chartering, metrics identification, planning detailed schedule, milestones, risk identification & mitigation of risks including coordinating and execution of change management and communication plans. Through stakeholder interfaces, gather and translate customer insights into solutions including conducting internal and external benchmarking in surfacing best practices for adoption.
Leads all aspects of successful management global program including identification and de-risking program commitments and issue resolutions. Is also responsible for leading management and delivery of global program portfolio include process simplification and technology enabled solutions. In addition to implementation of automation and digital solution programs leveraging process excellence tools & methodologies, is responsible for building and mentoring local teams on adoption of new practices and skill that will help sustain improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
Develops automation and digitalization maturity roadmaps in alignment with MedTech digital transformation excellence framework and playbook.
Identifies next gen and digital solutions that will advance digital transformation maturity and enable target business value
Identifies efficiencies through automation and digital solution projects including creating business cases
Leads cross-functional alignment on prioritization and execution plan for automation and digitalization solutions.
Plans, coordinates and leads all aspects of work stream roadmap through effective project governance.
Establishes, monitors and tracks performance measures (deliverables, efficiency and financials.
Develops and leads stakeholder change management and communication plans
Participate in program governance meeting and provide updates on progress and project communications.
Establishes, local governance to track execution, and remove roadblocks to enable successful delivery of project commitments.
Guides core team members on successfully delivery of project commitments
Deploy and uses effective project risk management tools for successfully delivery of program commitments
Support budget cycle (LRFP, JU, BP, NU) to accommodate business needs
Qualifications
Education:
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or relevant scientific/technical field is required. Advanced degree is preferred.
Experience and Skills:
Required:
A minimum of 6 years of related work experience.
Demonstrated experience deployment of technology solutions with cross-functional, diverse, global teams using PEx Methodology
Experience in site and global project management via FPX methodology
Ability to work autonomously in scenarios with some ambiguity & handle multiple tasks
Experience in introduction of new technologies
Fluent verbal and written English communication skills
Preferred:
Experience with equipment validation, quality engineering, automation or digitalization of processes in the regulated healthcare industry
Experience with developing innovative approaches to Quality challenges in a fast-paced, changing global environment
Demonstrated experience in effective project management
Strong communication and change management skills
Experience with business case development and project investment management
Proficient technical writing skills
Thorough understanding of digital enablement, technology planning processes, software methodologies, and tools
Able to lead complex strategic programs with multiple partners
Able to provide outcome-based/value-driven focus to the organization.
Strong negotiation, communication, and change management skills
Proven success in influencing highly successful teams
Capable of building strong partnerships across segments & regions, acting as the mediator between organizations while optimizing the value proposition
Demonstrated ability to successfully lead multi-functional teams.
Strong relationship development, conflict resolution, and team building instincts, with the ability to build partnerships both internally and externally.
Ability to coach talent on Quality Engineering principles and practices
Equipment and software validation experience strongly
Other:
Project management certified - FPX or PMP certification is preferred.
Agile methodology experience/certification is preferred.
Experience in Process Excellence skills , PEX Certification is preferred.
This position may require a 30% to 40% of domestic and/or international travel.
