Job Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret prints, travelers, sketches and related technical data.
• Able to interpret GD and T tolerances.
• Perform 1^st^article and in-process inspections, document inspection data as required.
• Keep accurate part counts.
• Perform duties required to set up, load/unload parts on CNC machines to support maximum spindle utilization time.
• Deburr and blend all machined parts.
• Perform daily maintenance on machines including maintaining fluid levels, emptying chips, wiping down machine to remove coolant, dust and debris.
• Recognize and replace worn cutters and/or tool bits.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of machine shop mathematics and calculations
• Must be able to read and use measuring tools.
• Satisfactory communication skills, written and verbal
• Experienced in CAD/CAM
• Capable of running both CNC Mills and CNC lathes
• Capable of setups on both CNC mills and CNC lathes

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, use hands and fingers, reach with hands and arms; balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk and hear. Must be able with withstand hot/cold temperatures. Sitting 10%, walking/standing 90%. Occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds.
