Lyman Roofing & Siding Spray Booth Operations Worker in St. Louis, Minnesota

Lyman Roofing and Siding headquartered at 5320 West 23rd Street, Suite 180 St. Louis Park, MN 55416 phone number: 612-430-7200 is looking to fill twelve (12) Spray Booth Operations Workers positions from 05.15.2024 to 12.31.2024. This is for full time, peak-load temporary employment. Duties include: Work with paint pumps to prime paint in pumps and spray exterior trim. Load order on forklift and conveyer to go through paint booth. Package finished work at the end of the line. Keep shop, yard staging area and storage area clean and organized. Gather materials and paint necessary to complete work orders in full. Place materials in the booth to be painted. Spray all parts with the required amount of paint evenly, while performing quality checks during the application. Workers will also disassemble, clean, and reassemble sprayers or power equipment, using solvents, wire brushes, and cloths. Operate a powered industrial truck as needed to complete tasks. Special requirements include: Must have some previous work-related skill, knowledge, or experience. Must be able to lift and carry 50lbs for 50 yds. Must be able to handle temperature extremes. Must be able to pass employer-paid pre- employment, post-accident, and/or other random drug testing. The pay rate is from $20.75 up to $25.75per hour with overtime available at $31.13 up to $38.63 per hour, based on hourly rate. 40 hours per week from 6AM 2:30PM, 2PM 10:30pm, Monday to Friday. Job opportunity is a temporary, full-time position. Daily travel to worksites in the area of intended employment is required. The requested temporary workers will be based at 5320 West 23rd Street, Suite 180 St. Louis Park, MN 55416 and will service clients within the Minneapolis-St. Paul-Bloomington, MN-WI BLS/MSA, including the counties of Hennepin. Employer provides transportation to and from all worksites. Single workweek will be used in computing wages due. Pay period is weekly. Employer provides housing and utilities to the workers at a weekly payroll deduction of $90.00. Employer provides transportation to and from the worksite at a weekly payroll deduction of $15.00. Employer-provided housing and transportation are optional for the workers. Employer will make all deductions required by law. Workers may be held financially liable for any willful or negligent damage to company equipment, property, or provided housing. The offered housing is optional to workers. Transportation, including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging, to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed by a company check, separate from the payroll check, if the worker completes half of the employment period. If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, employer will arrange and pay directly for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back to home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economically and reasonable common carrier for the distance involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts. Reimbursement in the first work week for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by the H-2B worker (but not included passport expenses or other charges primarily for the benefit of the worker). The employer will provide worker, at no charge, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job and on the job training in the proper use of tools and equipment. The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to t least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period only to the extent that this guarantee is enforced by the Department of Labor. As of the date of this posting, the three-fourths guarantee is not enforced.
