We are currently seeking a Talent Development Consultant for Early Careers. This position collaborates with Learning and Development team members, HR Centers of Excellence and partners, and line of business subject matter experts to create, facilitate, and manage early career development programs. The Talent Development Consultant Early Careers conducts research on current development trends and topics to enhance design and content development. The incumbent facilitates and manages formal and informal development programs and initiatives to support the business goals and talent needs of the organization. Key Accountabilities Design Development Solutions Designs and develops quality, performance focused, interactive content using instructional design techniques and adult learning principles to create on-demand resources and online, virtual, video, and instructor-led training to engage the learner and meet learning objectives. Develops comprehensive project plans with key deliverables and milestones beginning with the end in mind. Integrates information from research, HR Centers of Excellence, and line of business subject matter experts to understand new initiatives, analyze objectives, and recommend development solutions. Maintains and demonstrates in-depth knowledge of leadership, coaching, individual development plans and individual team member growth and development opportunities. Researches and maintains knowledge of competencies and effectively applies the knowledge to understand and fulfill learning needs. Recognizes when changing client or organizational expectations require a new approach. Recommends alternate approaches to meet the need and adapts behaviors accordingly. Manage and Facilitate Early Career Development Programs and Activities Consults with HR Centers of Excellence, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, and business subject matter experts to determine early career development needs and establishes plans and priorities for development programs. Manages all early career development programs, including LEAD, Orr Fellowship, and Internship. Supports additional internal and external programs and partnerships to enhance early career development, including internal impact networks and development councils, university partnerships and community development organizations. Partners with the Talent Acquisition team for development program selection process, including applications, interviews, selection, and participant notification. Oversees program logistics and scheduling, including systematized tracking in the Learning Management System. Evaluates and measures program effectiveness and talent retention, shares the results with HR and line of business stakeholders, and enhances based on feedback. Creates communication plans and resources to share new development opportunities. Serves as the direct manager for first year LEAD participants. Provides coaching, development, and guidance. Deliver Quality Learning and Development Experiences Facilitates instructor-led, virtual, and live webinars. Engages participants in the learning process via discussion, effective questioning, activities, and practice. Manages the learning environment, analyzes results, identifies gaps, coaches participants, and provides feedback to their manager as needed. Ensures adult learning principles are incorporated into development programs. May require periodic travel within the Old National Bank footprint. Qualifications and Education Requirements Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Education, a related field, or 4 years of relevant work experience. 5+ years of broad experience in learning and talent development. Knowledgeable of adult learning theories and instructional design skills including needs analysis, development of scope, design specifications, performance-based objectives, assessments, and curriculum development. Influencing, change management, and consulting skills. Strong project management and organizational skills. Excellent research and analytical skills. Excellent facilitation skills with experience in development programs.
