Advantage Technical Services, Inc Electrical Engineer III in St. Paul, Minnesota

Advantage Technical is seeking a talented and passionate Electrical Engineer III for our great global client in St. Paul, MN. Do you have what it takes? Hybrid Job Purpose Design, develop, debug, modify, and test electrical circuits and systems used in development and production of active implantable medical devices. Independently or as a member of a team directs, develops, concepts, and executes specifications, designs, plans, documents, and builds of electrical circuits and systems. Key Responsibilities 1. Leads or participates on project teams to develop clear specifications, evaluates feasibility of concepts, and provides formal estimates for electrical designs. 2. Documents electrical development by writing procedures, reports, memos, and change requests. 3. Creates electrical/software designs utilizing the departments' standard development tools and procedures. 4. Complete project deliverables and monitor project schedule and scope changes to assure team can meet delivery requirements. 5. Prepares standard reports/documentation to communicate status and results 6. Leads project teams that include Designers, Engineers and Technicians in the design, assembly, and debug of equipment. 7. Designs electrical systems and specifies electrical components. 8. Completes FDA/QSR equipment requirements by assisting in the creation of specifications and qualifications. 9. Influences and defines functional and departmental procedures through involvement with cross-functional engineering initiatives. Quality Systems Duties and Responsibilities: Build Quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements. Qualifications -5 - 8 Years with BS, 3 - 6 Years with MS, 0 - 3 Years with PhD -Medical Device experience a plus. -Jira, AccuRev, Minitab experience is a plus.
