Title:  RF Connectivity Design Engineer

Duration: 1 year with possible extension 

Location: Onsite Sunnyvale, CA

Hours: Minimum 40 Hours/Week 

Role:

• Simulate RF HW design using a 3D EM simulation tool for product integration.

• Measure the RF HW performance and correlate it with the 3D simulation results.

• Collaborate with internal and external cross-functional teams to ensure that specifications are met at the component, board, and system levels.

• Understanding of the HW design process and pushing PDP from early prototype, tuning, validation, and certification.

• Connectivity RF HW design with expertise in one or more of the following areas: GPS, NFC, WiFi, BT.

Skills:

• 3+ years of experience with RF HW Design for wireless consumer electronics or similar industries such as infotainment.

-Experience in 3D EM simulation for product level (preferred experience in Ansys-HFSS).

• Experience RF concepts such as impedance matching and Smith Charts.

• Experience using RF simulation tools such as Keysight ADS, Momentum

• Experience in RF measurement using Network analyzer, Spectrum analyzer, Power meter, Communication equipment (CMW500, CWM100, Litepoint, CMP180), and so on.

• Experience in debugging RF issues.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Siemens NX.

• Experience in Cadence Virtuoso and EMX.

• Experience with PCB layout and schematic capture for RF circuits.

• Experience with LTE, WLAN, BT, GPS circuits, modules, and test specification

• Experience designing radios for consumer electronic devices

Education: BSCSE or related.
