Job Title: Color Designer
Location: SUWANEE, Georgia
Under the direction of the Technology Group Leader, the Color Designer creates color formulations to meet customer requirements and is involved in as well as root cause analysis of color failure, problem solving and training.
This position ensures that color samples are developed in accordance with customer specifications at the lowest possible cost, while meeting company standards for quality and performance. This position operates with a high degree of autonomy and requires little to no day-to-day direction.
Must have knowledge of and understand the chemistry of raw materials, such as pigments, resins and additives, to ensure formulations result in the lowest cost, on-color designs, which can be efficiently converted into production processes.
Must have math skills to add, subtract, multiply and divide and the ability to perform these operations using units of weight measurement, volume, and distance.
