Production Supervisor

Job Description

Mon – Fri + OT (must be able to work weekends)

1st Shift 6:30am – 2:30pm

We are seeking a diligent Production Supervisor for the 1st shift at our climate-controlled plant. This salaried position requires flexibility with the working hours, which are typically Monday - Friday, 6:30AM-2:30PM, but may include early starts, late finishes, and weekend work depending on production needs. The supervisor will oversee 8 production areas and manage a team of 20-30 employees, ensuring efficient operation within assigned areas. Key responsibilities include personnel management, cost control, delivery scheduling, implementing 'team' concept among personnel, conducting reviews and reprimands, recommending staffing needs, and acting as a liaison between the Manufacturing Manager and assigned workforce. The incumbent will also promote safety throughout the plant, solve workflow problems, control overtime costs, and verify and approve employee's time cards.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position, climate controlled environment in Tallahassee, Florida.

Work Environment

You will be working in a 150-person climate-controlled plant. We operate 3 plants in the US and are planning to open a plant in Germany. 70% of our work involves high speed assembly and testing with very little manufacturing.
