Global Widget Quality Assurance Technician in Tampa, Florida

We currently have 3 QA Technician openings, 1 for each of the following shifts M-F. (Some Saturdays may be required):

  • 6:30am - 3:00pm

  • 10:00am - 6:30pm

  • 3:00pm - 11:30pm

    Essential Job Functions

    Quality Expectations

  • Ensure the quality of all processes by conducting from raw materials to finished goods inspection.

  • Performs testing of goods that are being produced. Follows all applicable procedures for those tests.

  • Conduct package quality inspection and isolate product that does not meet standards.

  • Alert production supervisor and operators if a non-conformance is detected to allow for corrective action to be taken to bring the process or product into compliance.

  • Review Batch Records.

  • Ensure compliance with all Global Widget procedures.

  • Ensure the production of safe and high-quality products and maintain quality documentation according to quality program. Monitor GMP/GDP in the production areas.

  • Collect samples as required.

  • Provide backup support for other quality positions as needed.

  • Complete tasks assigned by Quality Assurance Specialist.

  • All actions taken will be conducted in the safest manner possible and without risking injury to yourself or others.

  • Follow all safe practices and safety policies and procedures.

  • Report all accident, incidents, safety violations, near misses or unsafe conditions immediately.

Qualifications

Required Experience and Education

  • High School diploma or equivalent GED required.

  • Previous production/manufacturing/QA experience.

  • Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Must demonstrate a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office products

  • Basic Computer proficiency

  • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
