Job Description

Accounting Specialist, AP/AR

Volt Workforce Solutions is in search of an accounting specialist for a Tempe manufacturing client. This is a long-term opportunity, we are looking for the skills but also a good fit for an eventual full-time position.

The accounting specialist will report to the controller, this is a small branch, with 26 employees and requires the use of internal software to process AR/AP batches.

The position requires flexibility and urgency/willingness from the accountant as the accountant will sit at the front desk and may speak with walk-ins and transfer calls as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Record keeping of incoming and outgoing correspondence

  • Use of various software and spreadsheets,

  • Ability to navigate ERP system (specifically Great Plains Dynamics software, at minimum relatable experience a must)

  • QuickBooks or relatable

  • Batch processing

  • HS Diploma required, some college preferred

  • Directly reports to and supports the Controller in month end reporting, data management and special projects as needed.

M-F, 9 am - 4:30 pm or 5 pm

Pay is DOE Up to $21/hr
