They perform troubleshooting and configure, repair, and maintain our desktop computer hardware, software, and associated peripherals. This role is an onsite position in Thief River Falls, MN and operates on a rotating schedule. Responsibilities: Desktop computer configuration and maintenance First tier end user technical support Troubleshooting of computer hardware, software, network and peripherals Monitoring and remediating issues with select server systems Develop computer-based solutions for business needs as required Provide input to management for resource allocation and prioritization Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience: Associate degree in CIS, Computer & Network Technology, or similar field strongly preferred 0-2 years of experience working in IT or equivalent work experience strongly preferred Knowledge of computer hardware, networking, operating systems, and software packages Experience with computer troubleshooting Self-motivated An interest in keeping with the latest hardware and software technologies Ability to operate computer workstation hardware and software Tools / Systems / Software: Microsoft Office Windows PC Repair Ticketing System Physical Requirements: Generally, spend the workday sitting at a workstation and operating computer devices, such as, but not limited to keyboard, mouse and screen Generally, spend the workday performing repetitive motions that involve or affect the hands, head, and other parts of your body Capable of lifting up to 40 lbs. from floor to shoulder height Constantly positions self to maintain computers in the lab, including under the desks and in the server closet DigiKey Electronics is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
