About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team in Japan. This role focuses on generating new business opportunities and expanding our presence in the private sector. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales and a deep understanding of SaaS solutions.This position focuses on New Business in the Private sector.

Responsibilities

• Identify and target potential clients in the private sector, including large corporations and mid-sized businesses.

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.

• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.

• Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives.

• Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations.

• Negotiate contract terms with clients and work with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of solutions.

• Keep abreast of new product developments and competitive landscape.

• Report on forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

• Minimum of 3 years of sales experience, with a strong focus on new business development, preferably in the technology or SaaS sector.

• Fluent in Japanese and business level English is a plus.

• Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to travel as needed.
