Black & McDonald's Southern Ontario FMO team is growing! If you are a technical and hands-on professional searching for the opportunity to build a solid foundation for your career, this position is for you. The Jr. Maintenance Mechanic (HVAC) is located in Toronto, ON and typically reports directly to the Facilities Supervisor.

Black & McDonald Limited is actively seeking a Jr. Maintenance Mechanic (HVAC) to maintain, upgrade, troubleshoot and repair all mechanical devices.

Responsibilities:

Work shall include but not necessarily be limited to the following:

• General maintenance of HVAC related equipment, maintenance to include but not limited to belts changes and filter changes, minor adjustments, and inspections.

• Perform light duties such as sweeping, general cleaning, garbage removal.

• Installation of safety barricades

• Equipment inspections

• Assisting HVAC mechanics, escorting contractors.

• Assist other classifications as required

  Competency Requirements:

• Good oral and written communication skills

• Team Player with excellent interpersonal skill

  Education & Skill Requirements:

• Grade 12 diploma

• Must possess a clear drivers abstract

• Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft office
