Job Description

The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled PowerBI Developer to join our team and play a key role in our Voice of Customer (VoC) project. As part of our Customer Experience (CX) initiative, you will be responsible for using PowerBI to deliver actionable insights from customer feedback data, enabling us to enhance our products and services to meet customer needs effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective PowerBI reports and dashboards.

  • Develop interactive and visually compelling reports and dashboards using PowerBI to analyze customer feedback data and track key performance indicators related to customer experience.

  • Work closely with partners to gather requirements, design data models, and implement solutions that meet their needs.

  • Optimize and maintain existing PowerBI solutions, ensuring data accuracy, reliability, and performance.

  • Provide technical expertise and guidance on PowerBI standard methodologies to team members and partners.

  • Stay ahead of with industry trends and advancements in PowerBI and related technologies, continuously improving our reporting capabilities.

  • Build insights and recommendations by using the reports they are building

What we are looking for

  • Proficiency in developing complex PowerBI reports and dashboards, including data modeling, DAX calculations, and visualization design.

  • Solid understanding of SQL and experience working with relational databases to extract and manipulate data for reporting purposes.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

  • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multi-functional teams and partners.

  • Demonstrable ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to optimize report performance

  • Ability to work / deliver high quality work under tight deadlines and strong problem-solving abilities

  • Positive outlook with a can-do mindset

  • Experience working with customer feedback data and familiarity with Voice of Customer (VoC) programs(Optional).

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a PowerBI Developer, with a focus on data visualization and analytics.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

Salary & Benefits

The annual base salary for this role is listed below.

Primary Location

Toronto, Ontario

Salary range is expected to be between

$74,270.00 CAD - $137,930.00 CAD

The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training. Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance.
