Volt has an opportunity for you to become part of a prestigious team of professionals. We are seeking a Training Course Instructional Designer to work onsite at our client’s facility in Tucson, AZ . This is a contingent position expected to last 1+ years.

Must be available to work W2 for Volt, No C2C or 3 rd party vendors.

Job Summary:

Selected candidate will be scripting, entering information into a software package and building a training course.

Required/Desired Experience:

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience (Required)

  • Articulate Storyline (Required)

  • Basic Excel Suite (Required)

  • Photoshop (Desired)

  • Illustrator (Desired)

Detailed Job Duties:

  • Create Web based Training programs for mechanical and electrical technical training utilizing Articulate Storyline

  • Lead/support the development, review and refinement of final product to maximize customer satisfaction

  • Support special projects for department

  • Research course content from a variety of sources including, but not limited to, service manuals, operator manuals, Special Instructions Bulletins, technical writing by various SMEs, previous course scripts

  • Script writing requiring excellent writing communication skills and logical technical thinking ability

  • Extensive communication skills to work with other departments and work groups such as engineering and product support

  • Technical ability to record and edit voice-overs personally

  • Skilled knowledge of various graphic software including but not limited to Photoshop, Illustrator

  • Skilled in use of Office. (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Create graphics for WBT and ILT training using Photoshop and Illustrator

  • Photoshop retouching skills

  • Create complex graphics for special projects including for marketing promotional materials

  • Proofreading skills
