JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The Penn State School of Music seeks to fill part-time positions on its Marketing and Productions team. These positions are responsible for production of digital assets related to our many events throughout the 20/21 academic year, including social media advertisement, digital audio/video production, and live/virtual event production.

Scheduling is event-driven, and no regularly scheduled hours or shifts are available. We are seeking individuals that can spearhead projects independently, while still working as part of a larger team. While the majority of work will be centered in the School of Music Recital Hall, some travel to other performance venues (Eisenhower Auditorium, Pasquerilla Spiritual Center,

O. Richard Bundy Blue Band Building) may be required.

Salary, hours, and responsibilities contingent upon skills and experience. Previous experience in event production preferred, but not necessary. Strong writing, audio, and video skills required. Preference will be given to full-time registered Penn State College of Arts & Architecture students. If you are a student, please include your class schedule (class times only) in lieu of a cover letter when applying. Positions will remain open throughout the 20/21 academic year and applications will be reviewed as the need warrants.

CAMPUS SECURITY CRIME STATISTICS:

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters. The ASR is available for review here (https://police.psu.edu/annual-security-reports) .

Employment with the University will require successful completion of background check(s) in accordance with University policies.
