The HR Director, Orthodontic Aligner Solutions, collaborates with Senior Leadership to support their teams on their organizational design, strategy, talent strategies, including talent attraction, leadership effectiveness, engagement, development, succession planning and retention. As a strategic advisor, the job holder is responsible for understanding the full human resource needs in their line of business and works with the leaders globally to enable strategic business initiatives. The role partners closely with HR CoEs, HR Operations and Country/Site HRBP’s.

  • Develop a strong business acumen and provide support and guidance on key decisions

  • Enable the organization to grow by diagnosing gaps between current and desired organization performance, provide strategic counsel to leadership and deploy actions to help resolve gaps in the areas of organizational effectiveness, organizational design, talent management, succession, employee development, executive coaching and employee relations.

  • Provide advice and counsel to the senior leadership across their area of responsibility.

  • Lead efforts to increase collaboration, trust, engagement, leader effectiveness, & productivity

  • Proactively drive the implementation of key initiatives and align them with the broader HR strategy and business requirements.

  • Develop people strategy for the business aligned with the overall HR strategic plan

  • Collaborate and partner with CoE, HROC and In Country HR to align HR service delivery to business needs and create solutions that are core and common across DS.

  • Oversee effective adoption of HR processes and ensure consistency of practice in the application of HR policies and procedures

  • Mitigate organizational people risk and increase HR process adherence

  • Advocate and champion, the HR service delivery model within the business

  • Influence key decisions, present data and trends that enable strategic decisioning

  • Involvement in the talent acquisition of senior leaders in the area of responsibility (Identifying the interview panel, interviewieing senior leaders)

  • In cooperation with the CoEs Rewards team and local In Country HR organisation, provide advice on compensation and benefits for the senior leaders ensuring internal and external equity

  • Facilitate the onboarding of the senior leaders and their integration (onboarding plan, communication, meet & greet)

  • Facilitate talent reviews for senior leaders - strategies for critical roles, identify high potentials and succession planning

  • Advise on performance development and pay differentiation

  • Deliver org design and workforce planning consulting – provide guidance and consultation on structure and future talent planning

  • Serve as a Change leader; consult on transformation and M&A activities

  • Act as a Culture Champion, strong advocate for corporate values and hold leaders accountable

  • Lead on complex employee relations issues

  • Advise and execute on Culture, DE&I & engagement planning in partnership with the senior leaders

  • Coach and mentor leaders and their teams

  • Participate in company-wide programs and initiatives

Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business or related discipline or equivalent experience (Master’s Degree is desired).

  • Advanced degree or HR certification preferred

  • 10+ years of progressive HR related experience in areas like; business partnering, employee relations, talent management, compensation & benefits, performance management, recruiting, and training appropriate for this position.

  • Experience with serving multi-site global teams

  • Must live in EST time zone

  • Employee and labor relations - experience and an understanding of the complexity of HR with EU Works Councils and/or Unions depending on region
