Heidelberg Materials is seeking a Concrete Finisher to join our team in Vancouver, Washington. As a Concrete Finisher, you will have a proven safety record, a history of being a team player, must have the initiative to be able to work without direct supervision.

What You'll Get to Do:
Build and set curb, sidewalk, and other flatwork forms
Place, finish, protect and repair concrete
Smooth and finish poured concrete (curbs, sidewalks, etc.) using tools to include floats, trowels and screeds
Spread concrete to specified depth and consistency
Molding and constructing expansion joints using joiners and edging tools
Load, transport and unload tools, equipment and supplies required for each project
Use various tools to ensure the satisfactory completion of finished concrete.
Essential Experience and Skills:
Experience with safe worksite practices and worksite cleanup required.
Good attendance and punctuality a must.
Must have the initiative to be able to work without direct supervisor and be a team player.
Ability to work in extremes of hot and cold weather.
Must have the physical ability to: climb, stoop, bend, squat, and lift
Reading of plan sets and survey stakes a plus
Must be able to work flexible schedule with flexible hours, hours may vary; overtime work, weekends, and nights may be required.
Preferred Experience and Skills:
- Prior concrete finishing work experience

$27.00 - $35.00 / hour

Conditions of Employment:
Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
Some positions require FMCSA regulated on-going drug and alcohol testing.
Work Environment:
- Role operations primarily in environments where the conditions include inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
