IronMountain Solutions is seeking a Senior Level Aerospace Engineer to provide the Space and Missile Defense Center of Excellence (CoE), currently and as it expands, with professional engineering, technical and programmatic assistance to support efforts in development of a NCR-IADS MIC. Advisory and assistance services may include advisory assistance support in; vulnerability and risk assessment and mitigation; project justification and defense; program planning; evaluation and analyses of programs, projects, budgets and performance; and project execution, transition and commercialization. This also includes providing programmatic support in the development and preparation of acquisition and procurement documents. These services are comprehensively categorized as Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) support services. As such, SETA support must expeditiously acquire the fundamental understanding of CoE’s mission support to the National Capital Regions Integrated Air Defense systems overall and respective Management and Integration offices’ mission, practices, policies, and procedures; and respond professionally and promptly to mission needs within a demanding, challenging, and evolving environment. This position will also serve as the Task Order (TO) Lead.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide the overall contractor management of the TO, including personnel, planning, quality control, direction, coordination, and reviews necessary to ensure effective contract performance.

• On-site Task Lead to serve as the primary point of contact at the facility locations

• conduct technical interchange meetings.

• Assist in the preparation, review, and evaluation of program documentation for management and technical reviews.

• Attend program reviews, as required, to better understand issues/problems related to programs and propose recommendations for possible solutions to issues.

• Submit a monthly progress, status, and management report to provide visibility into (1) progress towards achieving the technical and schedule requirements/objectives of the TO, identify accomplishments to date and compare the status achieved to planned goals; (2) overall status of TO performance, to include (but not limited to) the identification of problem areas affecting technical/schedule/cost elements, recommendations for problem resolution and resolution results related to previously identified problem areas.

Education and General experience:

• The candidate must have a Master’s degree and 10 years of relevant experience.

• The candidate must have active Secret security clearance.

• The candidate must be willing to travel in support of business needs.
