Job Summary: Looking for an Analytical Lab Technician who will be responsible for supporting analytical chemical analyses for battery materials testing and failure analysis programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge in executing standard operating procedures in a laboratory environment. Description: Prepare test samples for various chemical analyses. Execute measurements following SOPs. Accurately record test results and perform some data analysis. Support SOP documentation. Work closely with engineers to support battery development work. Report status on a regular basis. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Required technical skills: Minimum of 2 years working in a laboratory environment. Experience with operating various analyses equipment such as SEM, ion milling, TGA. Science/engineering educational background. Experience with batteries and battery materials Experience in recording detailed and accurate test descriptions and data summaries. Experienced in sample preparation in fume/flow hoods, and preferably also in glove boxes. Able to effectively contribute to a dynamic and often fast-paced, high-pressure work environment.
