Envera Health Director of Business Development (Sales) in United States

This position is eligible for commissions & additionally a base salary of  $120,000 - $150,000.

The Director of Business Development (Sales) is responsible for the individual sales efforts of Envera Health by promoting & selling Envera services and capabilities to health systems across the country.

The primary role of the Business Development Director is to identify and engage potential new clients through varied sales channels in order to generate interest and convert prospects into customers by leveraging relationships with key healthcare stakeholders.

This is a remote position with a requirement to reside in the designated Western region of the United States: WA, OR, NV, AZ, NM, UT, ID, MT, WY, CO, TX, KS, NE, SD, ND, MN, IA, WI.

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve assigned goals related to profitable sales volume, market share, and other key financial performance objectives.

  • Develop and execute a strategic territory sales plan that grows the sales pipeline to maximize market penetration and revenue growth opportunities.

  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospect identification and lead management through new client contracting.

  • Utilize consultative selling techniques that will inspire partnerships with customers through the development of joint business plans and sell through initiatives.

  • Participate in targeted promotional events, conferences, and activities, in order to generate leads and qualify sales opportunities.

  • Utilize Salesforce to document sales activities and business processes/workflows and ensure accuracy of sales activity reporting, lead management, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion, for executive leadership.

  • Identify market trends, competitive intelligence and product or service gaps, while collaborating with internal teams (Product Management and Marketing) to ensure successful product development and/or product positioning.

  • Collaborate with Envera’s Account Management and Client Success teams on implementation, delivery, and other post-sales activities successfully.

  • Actively support and promote the company’s core values through all internal and external interactions.

  • A minimum of 50% travel may be required.

Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000 and additional commission on sales.

Compensation packages for this position are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field

  • 7-10 years of sales experience within the healthcare industry required with a preference for sales experience selling to the C-suite on the provider side

  • Proven track record building and executing on a targeted sales plan with solid sales process habits, leading to consistent quota achievement

  • Ability to identify needs of potential clients and offer company-based solutions to provide a positive ROI for the client and Envera Health

  • Strong organization, analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to meet tight deadlines

  • Working knowledge of the HubSpot platform or similar CRM

  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills

  • Reside in one of the following states: WA, OR, NV, AZ, NM, UT, ID, MT, WY, CO, TX, KS, NE, SD, ND, MN, IA, WI.
