Your Role at KIK

As a Sales Director you will drive sales growth with established accounts by developing account plans to increase sales and profitability; manage and coordinate customer projects through strong teamwork and communication with a cross-functional team; generate new placement and distribution and help to manage the assortment planning process.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Provide leadership to the sales organization and manage a team of Account Service Managers serving Biolab’s strategic accounts that sell Natural Chemistry and NC Branded products.

  • Manage, develop, and coach employees who live across multiple territories. Work with individual Service Managers to build skills, advance individual careers and to achieve corporate objectives.

  • Direct employees to ensure complete understanding of the account specific Sales and Marketing Plans and programs. Utilize internal resources to segment business, prioritize investment and deliver growth targets.

  • Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual quotas and strategic plans for key accounts, regions, and channels of distribution, projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products.

  • Manage merchandising, marketing and training programs for key accounts.

  • Design, implement, and manage sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes in conjunction with other Regional Directors to roll up to national plan. Establish high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes, and coordinate with all cross functional teams to execute plans and process.

  • Work closely with executive leadership team to implement best practices, data driven decision making, new channel strategies and continuous sales process improvements.

  • Accountable for monthly/quarterly/yearly sales results.

  • Report and Communicate sales and opportunities to leadership.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred or comparable work experience

  • Minimum of 7 years of outside sales experience with one or more prominent CPG companies, with a minimum of 3 years experience in a leadership role.

  • Experience selling to independent business owners, either directly, through distributors (or both).

  • Successful growth of a nationally branded consumer packaged good.

  • Diverse channel experience preferred.

  • Proven experience in meeting and exceeding sales goals.

  • Ability to collaborate with other disciplines and staff to develop a result driven team-oriented environment through motivation, coaching and market knowledge.

  • Ability to establish contacts and relationships with potential customers and channel partners.

  • The ability to initiate and handle a variety of projects or commitments simultaneously.

  • Customer focused, results-oriented and has the ability to interact with others in a positive manner.

  • The ability to react with urgency to achieve objectives and deadline.

  • Ability to flourish in a fast-paced environment.

  • MS Office knowledge including Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook.

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. This position has a base salary range of $110,000 – 125,000 plus an annual incentive bonus. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic/office location.
