Fiber Optic Assembler $18.00 per hour Wallingford 1st shift - 6 am-2:30 pm

Now hiring a Fiberoptic Assembler to assemble and test fiber optic components, assemblies, and devices. Apply today to join our growing team in Wallingford.

Responsibilities of a Fiberoptic Assembler:

• Read and interpret drawings, schematics, blueprints, specifications, routing sheets, and oral and written instructions for assembly
• Work with products including but not limited to small products, light assemblies, and/or complete units of a smaller size
• Detect and report defective materials, and improper operations, to the supervisor

Qualification or Requirements for a Fiberoptic Assembler:

• High School Diploma or equivalent, Technical School preferred
• Prior assembly and soldering experience
• Strong attention to detail and flexibility
• Computer and microscope knowledge
