What You Can Expect

The Business Sr. Analyst serves as a contributor and business lead in the initiation, requirements gathering, design, prototyping, development, testing and administration of current and future analytical solutions, regarding CRM and Sales Force Effectiveness analytical needs. This position works in close coordination with applicable Finance, Marketing, Business Unit and IT team members in various capacities.

How You'll Create Impact

• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert and Champion in driving industry and process best practices in the evolution of the company’s analytic suites (Tableau and Alteryx).

• Technical and non-technical maintenance of analytical solutions such as dashboards, workflows, reports or other products.

• Administer, manage and implement user security, user set up and user licensing on Tableau and Alteryx servers.

• Work with management and end-users to create and manage data visualizations and automated reports.

• Lead and assist with the creation and execution of functional test scripts and risk/Issue identification & mitigation approaches.

• Lead and assist with mass uploads and updates of data as required: removing unnecessary fields and data; ensuring screens, fields and workflow have accurate names and reflect current workflow.

• Partner with Marketing on field implementation of targeted analytics.

• Align with Executive Sales Leadership on planning and execution of tactics and long term strategies.

• Provide recommendations and assist in the creation and implementation of the Strategic Roadmap.

• Conduct research, analysis, and participate in strategy sessions for short-term and long-term business goals.

• Maintain high level familiarity with other business application capabilities and scope definitions in order to make recommendations about potential integrations.

• Work effectively with technical staff, business operations and subject matter experts, project managers, trainers, executives and implementation providers to create and deliver dynamic and fully functioning instructional solutions.

• Determine new requirements from user feedback to be fed back to the technical support team.

• Conduct requirements and solution design workshops.

• Responsible for front line support of field users where the user needs training and coaching on existing functionality.

• Resolve issues directly where possible and escalate to IT and Finance where necessary.

What Makes You Stand Out

• Must have experience assisting or taking direct responsibility for developing and implementing complex analytical solutions in a highly collaborative and rapid deployment timeline

• Good data architecture, data visualization and reporting skill set

• Strong Tableau security knowledge (via groups, permissions and row level security)

• Good understanding of data architecture and ability of connecting various data sets into one

• Proven track record of working in close collaboration with IT, Finance and business stakeholders on both large and small technology/change initiatives

• Good project management and collaboration skills with the ability to contribute on and lead a cross-functional team and build relationships with multiple stakeholders, both internally and externally with users ranging from executive to line level

• Strong communication skills in facilitation, listening, writing, and questioning

• Strong problem solving skills and mindset

• A passion for helping others to learn

• Excellent verbal and written skills

• Excellent organizational skills, time management and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Your Background

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent experience

• Tableau Desktop knowledge/certification preferred

• Excel VBA and SQL coding knowledge preferred

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience assisting or taking direct responsibility for developing and implementing analytical initiatives

• MBA or graduate degree preferred

• Previous experience working in healthcare preferred

Travel Expectations

Typically minimal, but up to 10% when deployment projects call for it

Compensation Range: $95,000-$105,000

The compensation for this position may vary depending on location.
