Job Description

Position: QA Manager of GMP Documentation (1st shift)

Status: Direct Hire

Location: West Caldwell, NJ 07006

This leading pharmaceutical facility develops and manufactures innovative drug delivery systems.

Primary duties include oversight of the documentation team of specialists and clerks, providing oversight of document processing. The candidate must have previously led a QA documentation group.

How you will impact the client:

  • Responsible to allocate workload, provide objective setting and performance review discussions.

  • Quality Assurance documentation system: oversight of life-cycle of documents (creation, distribution, revision, review cycle, implementation) including periodic review cycles.

  • Document Change Control system

  • Site wide logbook lifecycle process

  • Site’s Retention Schedule and Archival Process to ensure that documents are appropriately retained, retrievable and destroyed

  • Manage the process for the filing and retrieval of completed Training Records.

  • Control documents through processing stages. Verify accuracy of documents.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have led a QA Documentation Group previously

  • Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline.

  • Experience in cGMP manufacturing or testing in a pharmaceutical environment

  • Knowledge of GMP, USP, EP, and CFR requirements and regulations

  • At least 3 years of experience supervising direct reports
