Job Description

We are seeking diligent candidates to work in our manufacturing environment, creating quality windows and patio doors. All candidates will be cross-trained in multiple areas within the facility.

Responsibilities for this role include:

• Double Hung: Involves heavy lifting, repetitive work, and requires the ability to read schedules/labels.

• Direct Set: Requires the ability to work independently, learn about different materials and colors, and read paperwork and labels.

• CSMT: Role involves using a sash hanger, tape measure and reading schedules.

• Patio Door (x2 open): Involves heavier lifting, tape measure use.

Hard Skills

• Experience in a manufacturing/warehouse environment (minimum 6 months)

• Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16th of an inch

• Solid attendance record

Soft Skills

• High attention to detail

• Awareness of surroundings

• Willingness to ask questions when unsure

• Adaptable to cross-training in multiple areas

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in West Des Moines, Iowa.

Work Environment

Our 1st shift runs from 6am-2:30pm, five days a week. Current schedule involves working 32-40hrs a week, with preparation for busy season where there will be 50hr work weeks and requirement to work 2 Saturdays a month. We operate in a manufacturing environment across three facilities, which are not temperature controlled. Our team size averages around 100 employees per facility. Dress code is work appropriate shirts, jeans or shorts, and steel-toed shoes are mandatory.
