Description We are in search of an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in the media industry, based in WILLOUGHBY, Ohio. In this role, you will be expected to manage and maintain customer credit accounts, process credit applications, and handle customer inquiries related to credit. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity, allowing you to work remotely.

Responsibilities:

• Setting up new customers in the advertising system and updating account details such as address, phone number, and customer type

• Performing customer credit analysis as needed

• Initiating collection dunning letters and mailing copies of A/R statements

• Working on the Unapplied Payment Report to identify and apply payments to customer’s accounts

• Handling returned mail and resolving issues related to it

• Conducting research and reconciling customer accounts

• Approving and sending final demand requests to customers and referring accounts to a third-party collection agency when necessary

• Assisting with incoming phone calls

• Managing customer account statuses, including placing accounts on credit stop status and removing the credit stop status

• Releasing ads for publishing in online and printed publications

• Utilizing MS Excel to create spreadsheets using formulas as needed. Requirements • Possess expertise in Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Proficiency in B2B collections is required

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with Excel Formulas

• Experience with MS Excel in a professional setting is necessary

• Must have exceptional customer service skills

• Previous experience in the Media industry is a plus

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

• Proven ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
