Job Summary:

Under general supervision, this position will complete duties that include assembly of precision components or subsystems having both opto-mechanical and electro-optical assemblies. The position will also perform test and verification procedures for complex opto-mechanical and electro-optical components and subassemblies using defined production procedures.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assemble and test individual sub-assemblies

• Perform basic soldering

• Perform precision cleaning and preparation of components for assembly/usage in subsystems or end-product

• Perform complex bonding and curing procedures

• Operate test equipment, instruments, and automated test documentation

• Inspect and verify that work is complete and correct

Job Qualifications:

• Applicants must be either a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, legal permanent resident, asylee, refugee or must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce.

• High school diploma or equivalent; A.S. preferred.

• 1 to 2 years of experience in a related technical field.

• PCB Assembly experience preferred.

• Soldering experience/certification preferred.

• Demonstrated ability to learn on the job.

• Meticulous attention to detail.
